Halfway there!!!!

20 weeks!!

A day in the life.........

Phew...the day is done!! Today had a bit of highs & lows, as any other I suppose! But when there's rain there's a rainbow!!

So off to preschool for Matthew as the rest of us attend the much anticipated big 20 week ultrasound of peanut! On the way little M is restless in the back of Daddy's car calling for his blankie that Mommy forgot (WHAT???) on his bedroom floor....he can't calm himself, I can't jump back there since Daddy now has captain seats (bad move- LOL) and uh oh........

he vomits ALL OVER!! Man o man of course the day I have no extra clothes!! We're almost there so we decide to hit the thrift store w/ a nakie babe & quickly scramble for something that will do the trick! Got him an outfit for under 6 buckaroos!! Then we arrive at the office, just 10 minutes late & I receive a call on my cell that I'm late for my appointment to call & reschedule! AHHHH I'm here!!!!!

Thankfully they took us back & we got to see our sweet little baby!! Everything looked great! I quickly told the doc we weren't finding out, although VERY VERY TEMPTED! He said "oh good thing you told me!" so I said "did you see something?" hehehe of course he saw something.....but what??

We won't know until September 15th 2009!!!!!!

I'm not one for surprises- ask anyone, but this will be the best surprise I could ever imagine & I'm super excited!!!

Later that day I get bit on the hand, breaking skin & all, by a little guy who must of thought I tasted scrumptious! LOL Called my ob & he said I should be ok, just treat it as if I wasn't pregnant.....if I need a tetanus shot I could get one. No one knows when the last time I had one, but I'm opting out anyhow.

I came home to my DH giving both the boys a bath!!

So no complaining here- there's my rainbow!

All in all I had one hell of a day!!!!!! And tomorrow it all begins again!!!

DH is home!

I posted on facebook that DH is finally home! I'm thanking everyone who frequently checked in on me & my sanity while he was away. I really appreciate all the offers to help although, being me, most likely turned them down. You all know who you are- love you guys!!
With him being gone & practically running on E everyday- I did it! I'm very proud of myself! I got over a few "humps" I didn't think I could, I became a stronger more independent Mama & person in general. And I honestly think my relationship with my hubby is better....or is it just that honeymoon phase feeling since he's freshly home?? LOL
Anyway THANKS SO MUCH!

I went w/o peanut butter for months earlier in the year....why does it always seem to be the things I love? AHHHH just my vent of the day!

OMG I'm so incredibly pleased with all the sweet deals I've been finding! I'm one hell of a bargain shopper! Can you believe I bought a gently used baby swing, jumperoo, & bassinet all for just over $100! Now of course I could have done better than that....but let's face it it must be cute! HEHEHE!
I also couldn't believe this find of the diapers on the left here- all that for just over $100!! It's 19 fuzzi bunz (were fuzzi bunz virgins but who gives for this price!) w/ 19 inserts! And 10 infant chinese prefolds! I'm so proud of myself! Perhaps w/ all the money I've been saving the DH will splurge on a beco or ergo carrier for his semi-crunchy wife!

Baby names

These names are strictly mine!! What I mean by that is there has been no real imput from the DH.... keep in mind Matthew almost left the hospital w/o a name!! We decided rather than have the birth certificate read "baby boy" we had to name him! I was suckered into the family tradition of not only an M name but naming the first son after Daddy. Now don't get me wrong, I love the name Matthew, but I don't love all the confusion that comes along with having 2 of them in one house! With that we agreed I would name the next one....along came Marcus....really I didn't get to name him since we had the name picked for Matthew! So I think, to be fair, I should name this baby!! :)

These are some of Marc's one sized diapers (it's wash day...when is it not??) that hopefully around 8 or 9 pounds the baby will be sharing w/ big brother! Two kids in diapers might be a challenge....

Here's the start of the newborn stash! We'll DH would say...."NO MORE DIAPERS" but I think he forgets (already) just how teeny tiny newborns are!!

Sadly I got rid of Marc's newbie stash so starting from scratch is such a bummer. Luckily though Marc has a good bit, some including one sized dipes so once this little peanut is 8+ lbs the two will be fighting over dipes- hehe!!

I'll get some pics of Marc's one sized once the little monkey is up from his much needed nappity nap!

16 weeks 6 days

Baby sounds great. Heart rate again is 150 & my 20 week ultrasound is scheduled later this month on the 28th. Thankfully all my bloodwork came back fine & that pesky UTI is all gone....fingers crossed for no more of those! Amazingly I only gained 1 lb since my last appointment 4 weeks ago, those early morning appointments are best! LOL And I'm measuring right on target! Wohooo!

I wish I could sew & do it myself, but that's not happening!!! Really the baby's room is in complete chaos, as it's the guest bedroom/computer room/storage area!! I thought it would be fun to envision the room all complete w/o all the work involved.......hehehe! The DH will have his fun painting in there- isn't the one who paints the one who preps as well??? LOL Hey it was his idea to paint! And he choose....hold your breath......ORANGE!!
I've agreed, we both win since he agreed on such cute bedding! Ahh what a sweet sweet life I live!!!

And so it begins

Well the procrastinator has been putting it off for long enough...here I sit to begin my blog.

My life isn't all that interesting but the way I see it is if someone has the time or interest to invest in my adventures then read away to your hearts content.

I'm about to embark on another journey in my life......becoming a Mama of 3!

First picture shows me at 16 weeks & the other at 9 weeks.

I'm 16 weeks 4 days pregnant w/ little peanut. M&M are anxiously awaiting the arrivial of their new baby! My big M (Matthew) was insisting for awhile there that regardless, boy or girl, we would name the baby Noah. Hmmm, not exactly a name I would choose but hey could have picked Diego or Calliou so I just nod & say "we'll see". Can't crush the boys dream- tee hee hee!

Little M (Marcus) is just going about his day w/o any real idea to how his life is about to change in a few months. It's a bit sad for me to think how short a time he had as my little baby boy, soon the poor kid gets to suffer from being the "middle child". And actually thinking now, that is what my husband is...so maybe not such a bad thing. Perhaps he'll be strong & sweet, just like his daddy!

I have an OB appointment on Monday, not sure if it's the big ultrasound or not. Hey it's the 3rd- you tend get lazy. Fact really is we aren't finding out the sex so no real reason to get all excited, except of course to "see" the baby. I really enjoy all the appointments equally, even the ones where I drag both the boys along & pray to God they stay behind the sheet. It was the most amazing experience to have my little boys listen to the heartbeat for the very first time- they were silent, sitting in awe, with their big blue eyes starring up at me. I almost couldn't believe how they could enjoy it as much as me.
